Car Truck & Plant are 100% owned by the White family. 

Jeff our Managing Director left school at 16 and went to college full time and obtained a B Tech National in mechanics and went on to work on a number of brands and with several organisations including some time 'on the busses' in Dorset. 

He then spent some years at ABRO in Bovington working on army vehicles including 432 track carriers, and Foden recovery vehicles. 

At the age of 25 he took over an MOT station and spent four years learning the management side of running a workshop to round out his skills.

During his early thirties he worked across Europe on mainly US Army vehicles as a contractor before moving onto Australia working on drilling equipment to expand his knowledge and experience. Following a stint in Africa again working on drilling equipment Jeff spent six months in Canada before returning to the UK to work as a mobile mechanic.

Drawing on his extensive travels and experiences, Jeff set up Car Truck & Plant in 2017 and has grown the business to include his brother Adam, and together, Car Truck and Plant has become a key supplier to the Royal Mail fixing and maintaining some of the hardest working vehicles in the southwest.
